A Cocktail Bar on Loop Street
Seasonal cocktails, a curated South African wine list and small plates from the wood-fired kitchen — open from morning service through to late.
Cape Town's CBD is no longer short of bars. What it is short of are bars that take cocktails seriously and still feel relaxed enough to drop into after work without a reservation. Noah's bar on Loop Street sits in that gap.
The cocktail list
Our list moves with the seasons — short, focused, built around what's in at our suppliers and at the city's better distilleries. Expect a few well-made classics (a negroni, an old fashioned, a martini done properly), a rotating list of house creations, and a non-alcoholic section that's been treated with the same care as everything else.
South African wines & craft beer
The wine list leans heavily on the Cape — Swartland, Hemel-en-Aarde, Stellenbosch — with a tight European section for context. Craft beer is on tap, and the by-the-glass list is broad enough that you don't need to commit to a bottle.
Small plates from the wood-fired oven
Drinks are better with food. The bar menu pulls from the same wood-fired kitchen as dinner service — charred peppers, blistered tomatoes, pizzettes, burrata, and a handful of snacks built to pair with a cocktail rather than a full meal.
